All work and no play might have made Jack a dull boy, but demanding careers and a chock- a-block schedule have aided many in climbing to the peak of success. As the Work-A-Holic day passes us by, we at BollyCurry would like to focus on a self-confessed workaholic of the tinsel town whose constant drive to shoot for the moon has landed her amongst the stars, literally. She is none other than the chirpy beauty, Priyanka Chopra.

Chopra, who came into the limelight after being crowned Miss World in the year 2000, is not only a magnificent actress, but a successful singer, an insightful writer and a philanthropist. Her motivation to do better has kept her fueled, while her passion for her vocation has made her a workaholic. Her day is a series of events from shooting, to dubbing, to interviews while her life is a series of such days which are devoted to work without many breaks.

Be it the portrayal of a seductress in Aitraaz (2004), a serial killer in 7 Khoon Maaf (2011) or an autistic girl in Barfi! (2012), Priyanka Chopra is known to play each role to perfection. The actress leaves no stone unturned to achieve that level of excellence that makes every part she plays look as if it is tailor-made for her. Her latest flick, Dil Dhadakne Do, had a small but a crucial scene where the actress had to play paddle tennis with co-actor Rahul Bose. Chopra went to the extent of learning the sport to make it look convincing onscreen. Is it any wonder that she gets into the soul of the character and brings it to life in a way that makes her performance unforgettable?

Post Dil Dhadakne Do, Chopra immediately began shooting for Prakash Jha's Gangaajal 2, wherein she portrays a role of a hard core cop, and which required her to travel to the northern parts of India. Undeterred by the hectic schedule, the beauty queen cum actress is currently juggling the shoot of an international TV show, Quantico, in the US and the demands of her Bollywood movies. To keep up with her strenuous timeline, Chopra is expected to shoot for the much talked historical drama Bajirao Mastani for fifteen consecutive days, where she will be seen playing the role of an Indian Peshwa Queen.

Priyanka Chopra is known for her soulful performances and is loved for her vibrancy onscreen; however, behind that screen lives a hardworking and dedicated actress who devotes most of the hours in her day working towards breathing life in her characters and, time and again, stealing the breaths of the viewers.
