Couple of the Week: Ranbir-Katrina

 

Caught under BollyCurry's scanner this month, is the couple who's been quite popular with the tabloids recently - Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Better known for their real romance rather than reel, the duo haven't publicly acknowledged their purported relationship as of yet. But that hasn't stopped the media from creating a big deal of their alleged affair.

 

The couple made their first public appearance in 2010 while promoting their upcoming political thriller film, Raajneeti. Kaif's behavior at the event had the rumor mills running full throttle regarding the relationship status of the pair. This didn't last long as soon after, news of Kapoor's proximity with his Rockstar co-actor Nargis Fakhri did the rounds, creating a temporary hiatus between the supposed couple. Post Rockstar, Kaif took an initiative to sort things out and the two 'apparently' reunited in 2011.

Since then, there have been many incidents confirming the hearsay that they're together: Kaif's car being spotted outside Kapoor's house at odd hours, the two of them spending New Year's Eve together in 2012, the two of them making a joint appearance at Karan Johar's 41^st birthday bash and the likes of it. Soon after, leaked pictures of the couple holidaying on the beaches of Ibiza, Spain, created a rage as soon as they reached the tabloids. The speculations spiced up after Kapoor's cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan referred to Kaif as her sister-in-law on national television, which she later dismissed as a light-hearted joke.

Recently, the tabloids have been strife with reports of the couple splitting up, creating a big fuss amongst all and sundry. Till date, however, there has been no confirmation of the relationship, the break-up or the patch-up. The two indeed make a beautiful couple, and people are eagerly waiting for them to come out in the open about their real relationship status.
