The 26th of October marks the birthdays of two gorgeous Bollywood divas. Any guesses? Yes, BollyCurry along with all the fans celebrate the birthdays of Raveena Tandon and Asin Thottumkal.

Tandon was born on 26th October, 1974 to film maker Ravi Tandon and Veena and completed her studies at Jamnabai Narsee School and Mithibai College. While pursuing her course, director Shantanu Sheorey offered her a chance to act for which she had to drop out of college. Thus, she debuted in the year 1991 with the film Patthar Ke Phool for which she received the Filmfare Lux New Face award.

Following this, Tandon acted in movies such as Mohra, Dilwale and Laadla in the year 1994. Though Laadla performed averagely at the Box Office, it fetched her a Filmfare award nomination for the for best supporting actress. In the year 1995, she acted in Zamaana Deewana co-starring Shah Rukh Khan but it did not do well. Her later releases, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) and Ziddi (1997), were huge hits but she found more fame in 1998 with eight film releases with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, turning to be the second biggest hit of the year. In the year 1999, Tandon acted in Kannada film Upendra which won a couple of Filmfare Awards. She also won the National Award for best actress in the year 2001 for her performance in the film Daman:The Victim of Marital Violence. Apart from acting, Tandon has also appeared in commercials, is an active member of PETA and made her small screen debut last year as a host with Isi Ka Naam Zindagi.

In terms of her personal life, Tandon is happily married to film distributor Anil Thandani. She has four children, two of who were adopted before her marriage. To celebrate her birthday in good cheer, here are the few songs where she mesmerized us with her scintillating screen presence:
