Shahid Kapoor wins best actor for Jab We Met!

Shahid Kapoor's career is definitely on the upswing. He has been awarded the best actor award-editors choice for his matured and understated performance in JAB WE MET at the STARDUST AWARD.

The Max Stardust Award stands out in the clutter of countless film awards as it showcases and recognizes <a href=Shahid Kapoor" src="http://www.india-forums.com/bollywood/images/uploads/shahid_kapoor_big.jpg" align="right" border="" hspace="5" vspace="5">talent with the promise to emerge as the superstars of tomorrow.

The industry is raving about Shahid's back to back solo super hits in VIVAAH and JAB WE MET, quite a commendable feat considering that most of the hits in Bollywood are multi starrers these days.

The industry vouches his ability to carry the films on his shoulders at such an early age

Even Shahid is being selective with the projects, he has signed on. Even after the super success of VIVAAH, he preferred to take the risk to sit at home for 6 months, rather than sign ordinary projects.

And with the huge critical and commercial success of JAB WE MET, he stands vindicated. Shahid wants to be associated with quality projects henceforth, that will showcase his acting abilities. He is increasingly moving towards the superb actor status, rather than just being a star.

But according to Industry folks, Shahid is also at the crux of superstardom. He has got huge solo films on the anvil, starting with Aziz Mirza's KISMAT KONNECTION, 2 films with YASHRAJ's banner, a film with Ken Ghosh, and a film to be directed by his father Pankaj Kapoor. -(SAMPURN)

    he is sooo cute
    he did a marvelous job in Jab We Met..I loved it..and no other actor in my opinion has done a great film lately other than Sharukh...was he even nominated? But still SHAHID deserves everything!

    Hmmmmmmmm for me all the award shows are clutter sum tyms dey give awards dat r deserving n sum tyms dey give awards to suck up to a few people in the industry. anyways shahid was good in JWM but gud enuff to win best actor nah i dun fink so n same goes for kareena kapoor coz she won screen best actress i fink.

    noooooooooo guyz he won best actor award editors choice sooo no need to get really happi n de bst actor always was, is n will be for eva n eva de one and only shahrukh khan, no body can eva be compared to him although i do think dat shahid did a grt job n JWM......

    thank god for the first time it's not shahrukh. i mean i adore him but sometimes i think it's important for others to win too. in life you sometime win and sometimes loose. that's the fact in entertainment too.
