Rani Signs Paan Singh Tomaar Directors Next?

According to the latest buzz, Rani Mukherjee has signed to play the female protagonist in the next flick from director Tigmanshu Dhulia of Paan Singh Tomar fame. This upcoming venture is to be based on the life of Begum Samru, who played a crucial role during the 18th and 19th centuries in India's political struggle. Apparently, the role was always intended for Rani from the very beginning and was even written with Rani in mind!

Recent reports reveal that Tigmanshu and Rani met for long hours in Juhu where Rani accepted the role and signed the film. Also revealed was the fact that Rani was chosen because the director wanted a strong actress who could dominate the screen and hold attention all on her own.
