Emraan's Next!

Raj Kumar Gupta of Aamir and No One Killed Jessica fame, both of which went on to be commercially successful and critically acclaimed movies, has joined hands with UTV production house for his next movie, titled Ghanchakkar.

For the male protagonist both new Pataudi Nawab Saif Ali Khan and new Daddy Abhishek Bachchan were approached by the team in turn. However, when things clicked with neither, the project offer went on to Emraan Hashmi, who is currently riding high on the success of his latest blockbuster release The Dirty Picture. Hashmi after giving a nod to the venture has also gone on record before media and confirmed the same, claiming he had found the script to be gripping with a commercial streak. In accordance, writers Raj Kumar and Parwez Sheilkh are claiming to have charted a lead character which is nothing like anything Emraan has done in the past.

With the first time coming together of individually successful Raj Kumar and Emraan and UTV, this promising project is expected to go on floor with its shooting schedule soon enough. We wish the team much luck!
