Don Seenu's trip to Bollywood

Move over SRK, there's a new Don scheduled to hit B-town soon!

Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films- currently involved in setting the stage for Race 2 - has already zeroed in on his next project; a remake of the Telugu flick, Don Seenu.

A 2010 South Indian release, the movie starred Ravi Teja, Shriya Saran and Anjana Sukhani. The story revolves around Teja's character, shown to be a diehard fan of Amitabh Bachchan's portrayal in the original Don movie, and spans his escapades as he strives to become a real-life Don himself!

Ramesh Taurani has confirmed the news of this remake, further proposing to improvise the script to better adapt it to the Hindi audience; though a cast has not yet been finalised.  Popular buzz speculates either Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan or Salman Khan to step into the role of the new 'Don' in town.

If SRK had waged a gamble in playing forerunner to the legendary Amitabh Bachchan previously, by becoming Farhan Akhtar's new age Don; he is likely to now be further contested for monopolizing the image, from one among his top peer competitors. Successfully, or not, time shall tell!
