Atul Planning Bodyguard Sequel

For those who were swept by the charms of Bodyguard Lovely Singh, here comes a whiff of good news!

Following the trend of sequels, Atul Agnihotri is considering

the making of one, for his recent Salman starring blockbuster, Bodyguard. Agnihotri was heard to say that being the story of a bodyguard, many a situation can be woven around the central character – who also happens to neither be married, nor have kids, compounding possibilities for a future storyline. He went as far as speculating about turning Bodyguard into a franchise; given the scope for multiple follow up plots from the original. However, he added no formal thought has been given to any such plans.

Salman is currently shooting for Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger opposite Katrina Kaif . He also has his hands full with TV's Big Boss 5, and other commitments; not to forget he is still recovering from the surgery he had undergone recently for a nerve disorder. Atul in the meanwhile, with all the motivation to cash in on the blockbuster success further, has gone on record to say that he will try and work things out despite Salman's busy schedule.

Given Sallu's willing consent to family projects, and given his streak of mega success with the same – maybe Bodyguard 2 is not such a farfetched dream after all!

Aww I would be soo happy if they made a sequel but it has to have Kareena and Salman in it :) They were fantastic together in Bodyguard and would love to see more of them together :D
