Saifeena Postpone Wedding

The news of an upcoming Saifeena wedding, and Sr. Khan Pataudi's deteriorating health had come in close. With Mansoorji's sad demise on September 22nd, the wedding plans have naturally been pushed back.

Tentatively, the postponing of this matrimony is to be for about a year. Earlier slotted for February 2012, the family in mourning has inevitably deferred the plans for now. Although the official period to refrain from celebration is 6 months, the Khans and Bebo are in mutual consent about waiting longer, because the loss has been a great set back. Reportedly, the marriage could have well happened this Fall of 2011; however, with Pataudi being hospitalized, the engaged couple and family decided to wait then, believing Saif's father would improve in his condition. In that light, the death has come as a tragedy they were not exactly prepared for.

For now, we hope the family, and their future member in Kareena, can all stick together through this time of loss.
