Ranveer's new fan!

Despite being only a movie old (albeit a box office success) actor Ranveer Singh has quite the fan following, including some of the leading gals of our industry!

The latest seems to be Deepika Padukone who has confessed to being completely smitten with Ranveer (R factor much?!), admitting that he is her favourite male debutante. The actress went on to comment that while watching Band Baaja Baarat she enjoyed his tremendous screen presence and confidence; a generous but professional sentiment, echoed by many critics!

The appreciation seems to be mutual - even if along different tangents - as it wasn't long ago that Ranveer, attending a party hosted by Deepika's ex, Ranbir Kapoor, angered his host by making a snide comment involving Dippy's item number "Pant Khickega Ki Nahi", and told Ranbir that Deepika was the hottest girl he had dated. Ranbir's reponse was (from hearsay) a heated "Shut Up!"

Unsurprisingly the relationship between the two popular actors - with confusingly similar names, and suspiciously striking semblance of ways - has soured since.

In Deepika's defense, she is hardly the first actress to praise the young gun, Co-star Anushka Sharma's penchant for Ranveer is no secret, then there is also Dabaang girl Sonakshi Sinha who has been vocal of her appreciation of her greatest rival debutant from 2010.

Following Band Baaja Baraat, Ranveer will be seen in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, another Chopra offering slated for a release in December.

I dont like this guy at all..He was good in BB,dont doubt that but I hope he'll be good doing his next project as well..otherwise ..He needs to do just his job rather than cheap talking.

i loved BBB..and i love anushka and ranveer onscreen ..but offscreen ranveer is a little too blunt..and kinda inappropriate sometimes..

hmm .. liked him when i saw the promos of bbb , was a bit put off by him in kwk .. like him again after watching him in SMD ..
i think he was kinda nervous in kwk .. and wanted to cover that up.. by being a bit .. um over exuberant .. but i dont think that was the real him .. he was trying too hard to sound interesting , cool or whatever ...
he was much more .. himself .. in SMD
