Sanjay, Salman's Father?

For this important character, Salman reportedly wants to rope in his close friend Sanjay Dutt. It will only be a guest appearance, but it requires someone who fits the bill by being macho and tough (and going bald?!!). Since Sanjay fits the description perfectly, Salman has been insisting with him to step in. As is well known, these two have a history of sharing screen space, as co-leads, or as cameos in each others movies.

It appears that what is holding Sanjay back in reluctance is the minor but headline-grabbing tiff that took place at Maanyata Dutt's birthday bash. However, it is likely the actor will have to make up his mind quickly because producer Atul Agnihotri wants to complete shooting by the first week of August.
