Anushka's Turtle Charm!

 

Latest name to be added to that list is Cinema's very own latest muse - Anushka Sharma.

 

Talking about her debut with a contract with the prestigious Yash Raj Productions, Anushka will be heard narrating on the show her first call from YRF. She claims that after getting that confirmation call from Aditya Chopra, she got so emotional that she started crying and couldn't drive anymore, so had to pull over. Further, when she made her first call to her mother to give her the big news, her mother had a surprise to tell her about in return. Anushka shares how her mother told her about this Feng Shui turtle in my room which works on the belief of storing a written chit of ones dreams inside of it, until the dream comes true! Interestingly, unknown t Anushka in her period of struggle, her mother had stored one such wish making chit inside the turtle which read: I hope that my daughter stars in a Yash Raj film.

Of course, the fact that this petite diva did debut and get her first break and first blockbuster with the YRF production is proof of the turtle's charm - or more likely, prof of her mother's faith!
