Prachi Desai Goes Slow and Cautious

It is said that 'slow and steady wins the race' and apparently, Prachi Desai has decided to make it her success mantra. After the huge success of her movie Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, the young actress has kept out of sight from the silver screen and with sources citing that the actress is taking a cautious approach when it comes to signing further films.

 

Prachi, who came into the world of acting through TV has decided to take it slow at the beginning of her film career as she wants a variety in the kind of roles she gets to play, hence the gap. After debuting with Rock On in 2008, she was next seen in Life Partner exactly a year later, and then came Once Upon A Time in Mumbai after another gap of a year. One would have thought her to sign a whole host of films after her latest hit but on the contrary, Prachi has only signed on for one project - Joker with Rajeev Khandelwal,l in which she will be playing a character similar to herself in real life.

 

The petite actress says that her biggest fear after her entry into films was to unofficially get typecast into a certain type of role and then not be able to break out of it. Therefore, it is for that very reason why Prachi has been allowing herself to take a sufficient break between films so that she could choose roles wisely. Good strategy, we say!
