If there's been a year which has manage to spring up so many celebrity matrimony surprises, 2010 qualifies to be in the list!

There was Dhoni who's wedding hit headlines only hours before the pheras! There is the Vivek-Priyanka alliance lined up for the big events in the upcoming months... and now there is news confirming Konkona Sen Sharma's decision to tie knot with actor Ranvir Shorey! (And we recall Konkona's recent remarks about donning her grandmother's ornaments on her wedding day ... and figure where they were coming from!)

While speculations about their relationship status have been in the air for a while now, especially owing rumors from last year which claimed that the couple had headed for splitsville, good news has made way to the gossip columns now!

As per the buzz, September 3rd is supposed to be their D-Day. Konkona and Ranvir have consistently maintained privacy about their bonding, and this news about their alleged wedlock to happen is also primarily on leaked-by-close-ones basis so far. The duo, who have had a long period of courtship behind them, it is heard, plan to keep their wedding a similarly private affair, confirming the news only once the ceremony has actually taken place.
