from humble rural background and plays the good ol' unassuming wife to corrupt officer (Salman). And although trailers of this debut venture is all the audience have seen of her just yet, the girl sure makes a point with her priorities.

While showbiz inevitably involves all the feminine sensuality and baring for display in many-a-blockbuster hits, Sonakshi is yet another new comer promising to make the exception: Explicitly, she says that she will not dedicate her skills to blatant skin show acts. This condition was set down by her parents and she is more than happy to abide by it.

Meanwhile, with Dabangg promos looking all gung-ho, we look forward to the launch of another starlet!

Didn't Prachi Desai & Anushka Sharma said the same thing that they will not wear revealing clothes or show bare skin?? Now look at them in their last releases. Showing skin and mini skirts etc. Same will happen to Sonakshi.

True, most young actors these days get quite a meaty role in movies due to the privilege of being the son/daughter of a veteran actor. However, it's quite unfortunate really if you look at it, because even if they do want to make it on their own they'll always be slandered and taunted. And anyway, in this industry what one needs is luck and contacts. The more of each you have, the more recognition one gets. Sadly talent and ability seems to have taken a backseat in the recent times.
