Welcoming Tennis Sensation "Leander"!

Leander Paes, the enthusiastic tennis champion of our Nation who has won many a-hearts with his strong on-field performances in many a-games, has been receiving Bollywood movie offers ever since 1996! Though being a keen movie watcher and always residing an interest in them, Leander was not quite ready to give up his career to dwell into the world of showbiz.


However, Leander has finally made his decision and will mark his Bollywood entry in a movie to be directed by Ashok Kohli titled Rajdhani Express. Nothing much has been spilled on the plot besides the fact that Leander is set to play the role of a simple, common man.   What is it about this movie that made Leander want to set his luck on the silver screen, do you ask?   The buzz is that Leander has always considered Mahatma Gandhi as his role model and after  reading the script, Leander realized the plot-line reflected Gandhi's famous words "Be the change that you would like to see in the world", that too in a rather exciting and entertaining way. Leander took an instant liking to the plot and could not help but agree to do the film.


Leander's ancestor, the Bengali poet and dramatist Micheal Madhusudan Dutt, was a great actor so here's hoping that Leander inherited some of that acting talent in his genes.
