Hrithik ousts Abhi !

It seems as if Abhishek Bachchan's dream to re-enact the character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, immortalized in the 90's by none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself, will remain only that - a dream.

While one side of rumours claim that Abhi has been finalized alongside Jaya Bachchan to play Vijay and his mother respectively on screen; the other side maintains that Karan Johar has never even approached Abhi for the role.

Instead Hrithik Roshan has been cast in the movie which will be re-written and directed by debutant Karan Malhotra.

But fans who had hoped to catch another glimpse of the very popular character, Krishnan Iyer M. A., played by Mithun Chakraborty, will be disappointed to know that that character has been scarped off the screenplay. Another difference lies in Hrithik's character being supposedly influenced by Al Pacino's, in the famous Hollywood flick, Scarface.

Let's hope that Hrithik can live up to the name of the character.

Right choice of actor by the makers....Abhishek does not know how to act...he can only do one thing- imitate Amitabh Bacchan in EVERYTHING!!!!.....
