Big B's devotion

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has always been fond of the Malayalam actor Mohanlal. Currently, the actor is in Ooty, shooting for a Malayali movie alongside the Kerala actor.


On his blog, Amitabh shares with us about his decision to accept this film. Apparently its a consequence of his admiration for Mohanlal, whose work Big B considers as effortless yet efficient, and appreciation of the same as such is why he would never decline any project with him.


Pieces happened to have fallen in to place when Big B flew down to Kerala, where he was invited to Oscar winner Resul Pookutty's victory celebration. Actor Mohanlal and Major Ravi, director of this unnamed movie i question, who were guests of the same event, discussed with him about the project, and even paid him a follow up visit in Mumbai to put everything in order and finalize the contracts. Asked about the remuneration, the celebrity had a good laugh before revealing that he'd be working for free. Working for just 3 days with an actor that he admires so greatly gives him immense pleasure that is priceless in its own standing.


AB will be seen portraying a North Indian character in the movie, so language shouldn't keep his ardent fans at bay!
