Ayan Mukherji, the very young director who made his debut with the box office megahit, Wake Up Sid, starring the 'youngistaan wow' Ranbir Kapoor and of course, the dusky Bong talent, Konkana Sen, is one person everyone in the industry claims to adore.

And its not just that nice youthful look and outlook about him that appeals, but also and importantly the friendly bond he shares with Ranbir Kapoor!

Yes...the two of them are thick mates. So much so, in fact, that Ayan is his secrets-keeper.

And what adds more masala to this is that the gals wisely knowing how hard it is to keep tabs on their sworn chocolate hero Ranbir, have resorted to following Ayan, in the hopes of creating a link the alter way. Ranbir is often been addressed by the moniker of 'Pied Piper' of Bollywood, as far as the fairer sex is concerned.

More on Ayan - from what we hear, his next script is almost ready, and surprise surprise! Ranbir shall be playing the male protagonist, again!
