Zinta: 'Preity' and 'Rich'?!!

Co owner of IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) with ex beau Ness Wadia and other minor holders, Preity Zinta's fortunes are not limited to the 350-400 crores (3.5-4billion) estimates from these ownership rights.


Yes, her IPL team has been a consistent low performer this season, despite playing the underdog against top of charts Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils. But that has not incurred the actress losses to mourn over, for financial distribution of IPL works on dividend distribution among all teams, as well as exclusive advertising rights and tickets sales to team owners. In aggregate, KXIP which was an initial investment of less than 100 crores (1 billion) at time of purchase now stands at over three hundred percent profit, plus miscellaneous earnings.


That, as we said, is not it. Zinta is also in greatest likelihood expected to be the legal heir of Shandar Amrohi, who accepts her to be his adopted daughter. Shandar owns the Kamlistan Studios that once upon a time belonged to Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi. This particular real estate by itself, is worth some lofty hundreds of crores (billions), and is a location coveted by many a builders.


Among other future plans, Preity hopes to be able to trade off some stakes of her ownership rights for KXIP and redevelop the Kamlistan area with a mega builder from Pune. Of course the multiple travels involved with the IPL season 3 have kept at bay most of her other responsibilities at the moment.


Someone sure is getting rich! As a matter of fact, Preity Zinta can easily be tagged as tinsel town's richest girl! Now if money could buy her a prompt hit or two at BO, a promising performance from KXIP next season, and a handsome knight in the shining armor (handsom-er and shining-er than a certain Mr. Wadia) - wouldn't all the moolah in the world be worth the wishes?!
