Vidhu Ki 'Sawaari' Shah Rukh Khan

Many may be privy to the hushed buzz that SRK had originally been approached to star in the 2009 blockbuster 3 Idiots.

Well sources claim so, but unfortunately destiny had something else planned! King Khan withdrew from the production last minute due to a rift with Vidhu. Aamir Khan stepped into the project and the rest, as they say, is history.

The two estranged friends have now patched up and will fortify their friendship by way of a new movie currently titled Ferrari Ki Sawaari. With great anticipation, both Shah Rukh Khan and Vidhu Vinod Chopra have been wanting to do a project together for quite some time, but have been unable to, until now. SRK, sources claim, has given his final nod to Chopra's next!

Ironically, Vidhu first approached Aamir for Ferrari Ki Sawaari. However, Aamir turned it down because of his tight schedule. He wanted to devote all his time to the post-production process of his three home productions. Plus, as per speculations, the possibility of hosting KBC's upcoming season on television.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is closely inspired by a bestseller. It follows the dream of a young boy to play cricket at the Lords and the subsequent coming true of the dream owing to a Ferrari belonging to an Indian cricket legend.

Well AK and SRK always have each others back! LOL For SRK's role in Darr..AK was approached first...but SRK ended up doing... for Lagaan..SRK was approached first but AK did it... SRK was even approached for Munna Bhai but it went to Sanju later... Now 3I was offered to SRK first but went to AK and now Ferrari ki Sawaari was offered to AK and went to SRK...so this isn't new!

really destiny......really sad first Lagaan, then Munnabhai now this too.....SRKs loss is someone's gain.......as King Khan himself once said afterall all roles are not meant for him......
