Vivek Oberoi is most certainly a benevolent celebrity. Apart from spending his Holi with the girls from his Devi initiative in Vrindavan, he has also taken time off from his busy schedule to attend a fan's wedding in Punjab.
It seems that about the time his films Company and Road were released, his fan, Chandan, lost his father and was finding it hard to move on. His mother gave Vivek a call, explaining that Chandan was a huge fan and hoped he would speak to Chandan and help him cope with the loss. Vivek agreed, and the two have kept in touch ever since.
Although Chandan is a fan, Vivek and Chandan have a more brotherly relationship now, and Vivek simply could not refuse the invitation to attend his 'younger brother's wedding even though the release of his movie, Prince: It's Showtime!, has kept him extremely busy.
We certainly admire Vivek for doing so much for his fan, oops, brother!
