IPL gives Mandira the boost!

Mandira Bedi, the charming host of IPL, has been ousted to make way for a younger team!

The glamorous commentator who had to learn everything about the sport from scratch, refused to comment on the matter other than to confirm that she would not join the team for season 3.

In an official statement, executive vice-president of SET Max (the channel that will air the matches) Sneha Rajani stated that they are looking to try something different, hence the reason for not having Bedi around.

But the real reason?

Many feel that Mandira has lost her appeal with the audience and has nothing new to offer to the viewers, hence the hunt for a younger face. The general feeling is also that she wasn't very good last year and so the producers do not wish to take another chance with her.

Instead they have roped in new hosts such as VJ Ayushman Khurana, Gaurav Kapoor, Samir Kochar and Angad Bedi - son of spinner Bishan Singh Bedi.

I was so shocked to see Mandira Bedi when I switched on to ITV4 to watch the MI match today. :O She's doing OK but she's not very confident as a host tbh. :\ All the best to her though! She is representing Indians after all!

And IF should check their sources, she probably didn't get the boot, she's probably earning a LOT LOTTTT more as the IPL host on ITV 4 then she would on set max! :S

Watching the matches on ITV4 and Mandira Bedi is a watse of space. Is she wearing a wig? Looks awful and also the way she dresses (hardly any) is not suitable attire for a commentator. Even in UK women commentators don't dress like that.
