No competition between Khans

The Bollywood Khans on the block have, have been a source of mutual competition to each for several years now.The situation hence has brought them under media's spotlight time and again over rivalries that seem to exist, sometime purely professional, at other times becoming personally sour.

Aamir and Shahrukh have been making headlines for taking verbal digs at each other for a while now; but with a recent white flag from the 3 Idiots star, there seems to be a silver lining making appearance.

With Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots, Aamir proved him self yet again as the movie went on to become a mega blockbuster, grossing record earnings as made by a Bollywood film. The release of My Name is Khan later, in February, faired a similar fate. Inevitably the media was brought to speculate about the heightening of rivalry with two such movies starring rival Khans.

In a question similar from the press, Aamir has clarified that he has neither tried to compete with Shahrukh before, nor will he ever do so in the future.

The actor continued to say that it's not about the money or awards, but instead the positive message these movies convey to the fans. Furthermore, he does not want any debates on who is better in Bollywood; its an each man to his own business for him, where one strives to entertain more so with ever successive release.

Well Aamir might not be comparing, but I am. SRK is a horrible actor who is just now learning what acting is. The only movie of his I liked was Chak De India, and Aamir is AMAZING in everything :)

ok, AK is overrated. But thats akshay kumar to you, not aamir khan. he's as perfect as portrayed. Both are good actors, but aamir khan is slightly a bit better; SRK is doing what Aamir started doing 20 years ago. acting. 3i > MNIK.2010-03-17 19:27:23
