A 'Leher' of Yami in Bollywood!

Yami Gautam is a name that has risen to quick fame with the launch of Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam on Colors TV, where she plays Leher, the female lead opposite Abeer, played by Gaurav Khanna.

Already, this small screen celebrity is gearing up to make her Bollywood debut!

Noor, will be a love story which shall deal with the societal and moral implications of the illegal trade of organ theft. Yami will be seen paired opposite the extremely handsome Sudhashu Pandey, who has for years been the face of many-a-international brands including Bhilwara Suitings, Monte Carlo, Nivea, Digjam and Ceat Tyres. The multi-talented model cum actor has also been a singer with the Band of Boys, and has walked the ramp for elite in the fashion world - Gabanna, John Franco Ferry, Rohit Bal, JJ Walaya et al..

Yami for her part, before this instant popularity stint with Colors, made her acting debut with NDTV's Aryan. She admits having been offered roles in what she believes are more stereo type daily soaps which she preferred not to be a part of. Before Aryan, she was a first year law student in her hometown, Chandigarh.

While Sudhanshu claims his unwavering faith and perseverance has paid him off, especially now post the success of Singh is Kinng; Yami states that her careful choices have made all the difference.

With the shooting for Ek Noor in progress, audiences can look forward to a movie which appears to be meaningfully motivated, a claim of its protagonists, both of whom without having made no rush to be successful have indeed earned themselves worthy laurels.
