My Name is Khan breaks records!

Even though My Name is Khan was marked by limited audience during weekdays, the movie has managed to earn Rs 150 crore in its first week of release worldwide. The theatre occupancy averaged a 40% during working days. It's evident that the Shiv Sena controversy could not take the banner and its grossed profits down at all - what it has resulted in instead, is an increased gross earning from the repulsed public and SRK-Kajol fans.

The movie was initially released with 1,300 prints during the weekend and earned Rs 90 crore. Amir Khan's movie Three Idiots, managed to make Rs 240 crore within the first ten days of its release. We're yet to see if MNIK will come to breaking that record.

I just so wish MNIKhan does better than anything. I watched this movie 4 times in cinemas and I just so wish it does well.

One cannot compare 3 Idiots with SRK-Kajol movie.'3 Idiots has comic masaala in it without any good cause but MNIK has three deep messages that attracts audience from every part of the world.
