Salman leaves shoot midway!

y Salman Khan actually has a heart of gold. And so when we heard that he had altered a vital schedule of shooting to make an appearance at a children's event, we weren't surprised!

Apparently it was during an important shoot for movie Veer, held at Khan's farmhouse in Panvel, when Salman received the call. A charity based organization had planned a children's night at the Gymkhana. The kids, as per sources, had earlier requested the organizers to invite Salman as they wished to dance with him.

Unfortunately, their request was overlooked. However, on D-day, the disheartened kids refused to dance unless Salman was present. As a result, one among the organizers was forced to get in touch with Salman with his request - luckily for the kids, Salman has had previous links with the organization.

But the real problem arose when the Khan realised that he wouldn't be able to get to the event in time. However, Sallu immediately canceled the shoot, jumped in to the next available car and traveled all the way from Panvel to the Gymkhana in Mumbai to entertain a crowd of 400 kids where he danced on the stage for a good hour before making the trip back to the sets to complete his shoot!

Yes, like we said above, it was not entirely surprising! However, that is no reason to brush away his generous act, eh?! Kudos, Sallu!
