Simple Kapadia - No More

Simple Kapadia, younger sister of Dimple Kapadia passed away on November 10, 2009. She had been fighting with cancer for the last three years of her life.

After battling with cancer for such a long period of time, she took her final breath in a hospital located in Andheri. She died after having a horrible heart attack. Dimple was present when her loving sister, who was a costume designer, passed away. Her family was silently enduring everything. Although, they were extremely worried and were doing anything to save Simple's life.

Simple started her career at the mere age of 18! She debuted in a film called 'Anurodh' . Her co-star was her brother-in-law Rajesh Khanna. With many efforts and after acting in 20 films, Simple called it quits. However, she found a new passion costume designing. Costume designing took her to new heights and even bagged her an national award for her costumes in 'Rudaali'.

So sad to read about SK passing away suffering from Cancer...wonder what type of cancer she was suffering from...May god rest her soul in peace...and give strength for the family during this hard times..
