Akshay to bear the 2010 Olympic torch from India...

Life couldn't get any better then this for Akshay Kumar. As of now, the recent buzz is that Kumar will be the only sole star from the entertainment community to bear the torch from India, in the 2010 Olympic Games! Yes, you heard it right. Akshay Kumar, a.k.a. the Khiladi of Bollywood is going to go global with this event. He will now be the torch bearer for the winter Olympic Games to be held in Vancouver, Canada.

Everyone who knows Akshay knows his immense love for sports too. Akshay is going to be 1 of the 15 international celebrities invited to bear the torches.

The games will be held from January 30 to February 14, 2010. Akshay will be presented the torch on November 16 by the Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper, in Mumbai. At a high power exclusive lunch organised for 50 CEO's of respected tourism companies, the PM will be introducing Akshay as the sole torch bearer from India.

It will be an honour for not only Akshay but the whole hindi film industry and our country. A round of applause for Akshay. Gooo Akshay!

lol....the olympics are happening right in my backyard....is going to be alot of fun! iam proud that india is taking some role in it..as for Akshay Kumar it is a great honor for him! Go Canada!
