Bratty Abhay?!

Abhay Deol of preceding critical acclaim seems to be channelizing his arrogant persona from the likes of Dev D and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! as he becomes a constant source of consternation on the sets of Aisha!
The reason for keeping everyone on their toes?  Abhay insists that he's being forced to work in the movie!  Apparently, after the actor signed on he realized that he wasn't very happy with the script and how his character was penned.  Abhay had then offered to pay back the signing amount to Rhea (Daughter of Anil Kapoor who heads Anil Kapoor Productions),  and opt out of the deal except the latter flatly refused his convenient escape.

Since then Abhay has been getting on everyone's nerves with his unbecoming attitude - including co-star, co-producer and friend Sonam Kapoor.  Abhay even went as far as to hassle debutante director Rajshri Ojha about how to shoot and start-up scenes; leading many to wonder if much of it from the usually compliant actor is a mere whimsical display of whims to get himself kicked out of the project.

If so, Abhay himself is unaware as he insisted that though he had some issues with the production house regarding dates, they have since worked everything out and the shooting of Aisha has been a good experience. All his extra horse riding and dancing lessons, in addition to the regular griling shooting schedules ought to also, as one may reason, stand his testimony.

Whatever the real issue, here's BollyCurry hoping that Abhay stays on - after all, the talented actor opposite pretty lass Sonam in this adaptation of Austen's Emma is something we're undoubtedly looking forward to!
