Riteish Deshmukh's mimicry acts have often left people laughing in splits. He will be seen repeating such an act in
David Dhawan and
Vashu Bhagnani's Do Not Disturb. Our source tells us, "At an award function director
David Dhawan noticed Riteish's amazing talent for mimicry. So, he decided to give Riteish the chance to mimic in his upcoming film – Do Knot disturb. Who better to impersonate than Mr.
Amitabh Bachchan?! And so Riteish went on to mimic one of the many famous onscreen faces Big B- Vijay Verma of Deewar."
The source adds, "Riteish did complete justice to the task assigned to him. Dressed in a blue shirt with a rope on his left arm and a beedi in his mouth he waves a bundle of thousand rupee notes just like Amitabhji in Deewar. Adding tadka to the scene was Riteish's billa no. which reads 007!"
Talking about this scene
David Dhawan says, "Riteish's mother in the film, played by
Himani Shivpuri imagines her son to be like
Amitabh Bachchan from Deewar, so we decided to have a scene with Riteish imitating him. It's an absolutely hilarious scene."
"We have ensured it is not disrespectful to Amitji or the film Deewar. In fact we had even spoken to Rajiv Rai to tell him about the scene before we started shooting it," adds the producer of the film,
Vashu Bhagnani.
With
Do Knot Disturb's release date 2nd October approaching closer 'Vijay Verma' will come back to screen with
Do Knot Disturb thanks to
