The sequel to the mega-hit Rahul Bose-Mallika Sherawat starrer 'Pyar ke Side Effects' has been finalised with actor Akshay Kumar being roped in to play the male lead.

While, the female lead of the movie has yet not been confirmed...the makers are looking to approach the 'Delhi 6' lass, Sonam Kapoor.

Producer Pritish Nandy along with director Saket Choudhary has met with the actor who has given a thumbs up to the final copy of the movie. Akshay speaking to the media recited that the script was funny and interesting and that he was looking forward to working with a fresh and talented director like Saket.

The makers have yet not clarified whether the movie will continue with the Sid-Trisha tale or recite a new story.

'Pyar ke side effects' was in itself a class comedy featuring the casual-ness and raw-ness of its cast , we hope that this sequel like others does not forget the centre-point among all the gloss and drama.
