Police complaint against John

John Abraham who was riding high with the success of his movie 'New York' has been pushed hard onto the ground.

Publicised for his bare dare act in the movies 'Dostana' and 'New York', the model turned actor has landed himself in a messy soup this time.

John Abraham" align="right" hspace="5" vspace="5" />A Delhi city court has asked the police to lodge a report on a complaint seeking registration of a criminal case against him for posing allegedly nude in a photograph published in a daily.

"Since the complaint alleges commission of cognisable offences under Section 292 and 294 (relating to spread of obscene material) of the Indian Penal Code, the SHO is directed to file his report within two weeks," the court said.

C.M. Dua, who runs an NGO, sought registration of a FIR against John as well as the publisher and the editor of the daily.

"....the lascivious, prurient and obscene acts and photographs being published and shown by established members of society and publication house... tend to corrupt young minds, which is very dangerous and suicidal for the coming generation, if not taken care of," Dua mentioned in his petition.

He said he was appalled to find the magazine supplement of the daily dated June 11, 2009, carrying a "nude photograph" of Abraham at the study desk of his children.

Dua said that as the police had not paid hue to his complaint, he approached the court.

John should counter file with the same court for malicious harrassment, as the court seems to have time to waste on such frivolous nonsense and doesn't seem to mind such a horrible misuse of taxpayer's money!

Dua needs to get a life, get real and take a step into the 21st century! Seems like he just wants get his name mentioned in the media and will go to any means and lengths to do that.

Oh! And kudos to the police officer who heard his initial complaint and recognized it for the rubbish it is and refused to let Dua file a complaint. Too bad the court (and the media) didn't have the same sensible good judgement!

Confusions...
I saw the picture. It was not a full nude shot; just a small part of him had been shown. I had seen Bollywood girls showing even more, so what's with this nonsense, now?

And I am not quite sure, but is this a scene from the movie Dostana (haven't watched the movie, so can't say)? If it is, then isn't this the fault of the people and organization who did not censor this scene? And if it is a picture from a magazine, then shouldn't the magazine, it's owner, and people related with this be sued along with the performer (if it hadn't been done already)?

if sum1 lodges a complaint, it's the police's job to follow it on.
I am totally with john cos I absolutely loveee this guy but people will always find a way to criticise another (esp. a celebrity!)
