Saree, the six-yards of sheer elegance is surely the staple for every Indian woman, and a simple yet tasteful set of salwar-kurta is a wardrobe must-have, for days when we need to be, desi yet comfy. A look that absolutely is faithful, when the sun is bright and the day longer than usual.

While Bollywood is by far our favourite destination for western looks, a salwaar-kurta inspiration too can be drawn from the same place.

Here's taking a look at some Bollywood divas giving us some desi drama dose...

As Alia Bhatt is out with the poster and trailer of her latest film, Raazi, the actress has also started making public appearances in looks, similar to her's in the film. Just today, Alia was seen in a blue printed cotton suit in a flared silhouette, glammed up with a pair of silver earrings. A no-makeup makeup look perfectly complemented her natural beauty, while her side-swept curls tied everything together.

On the similar lines is Saif's daughter and Bollywood's most awaited debutante, Sara Ali Khan. Sara is most often than not seen in basic kurtas and bottoms. Here the newbie wears a bright green kurta and white flared palazzo.

It feels like, all the young and budding actresses are preferring salwaar-kameez for their everyday looks over western outfits. A classic example being, Janhvi Kapoor, who is spotted around the city donning some really simple Indian suits. Here, the upcoming actress wears a bright tie-dye suit clubbed with white straight fit pants.

Why only around the city?! Shraddha Kapoor donned a short block printed kurta with bright pink churidaar for her recent airport look. She kept it very casual with white rubber flip-flops.
