Indian Designer Duo Dolls Up Beyonce Like The Queen She Is

Indian fashion scene is buzzing at the moment. On one hand, we have a designer like Sabyasachi creating a new bridal wear wave in India; on the other, there is a designer duo making their mark in the international domain. They are the super-talented Falguni And Shane Peacock. Although, this is not the first time they are designing for an A-lister in the west, it definitely is the most recent one.

Yesterday, the designer duo dolled up, American singer and songwriter, Beyonce in an all gold gown, which reminded me of ancient Egyptian royalty, and true to the feeling the theme was 'WACO To Wakanda' and both the girls channeled 'Nubian Princesses'.

Beyonce donned this custom made gown for her businesswoman mother, Tina Knowles' second annual Wearable Art Gala.

At the do, Bey, who was honoured for her philanthropic works, matched the glint of her gown, with extra long Egyptian earrings and a delicate headgear, while Little Blue Ivy, by far the youngest bidder I know (Ivy bid $19000 on a painting at this auction) style twinned with her mother, wearing a similar gold coloured number and a headdress.
