Ace Fashion Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's Open Letter

Bollywood and controversy go hand-in-hand and the latest example is it's most recent favourite Fashion Designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the talent behind making the pink lehenga famous in every brides life, thanks to Anushka Sharma's Tuscan wedding.

But now it seems the designer has given the digital world one more thing to obsess about (apart from the romantic bridal lehenga), his 'Shame' comment on sari at the Harvard India Conference. The designer made a statement, in answer to a question about the difficulties women face while draping a saree "I think, if you tell me that you do not know how to wear a saree, I would say shame on you. It's a part of your culture, you need to stand up for it," For which the Couturier received lot of backlash, and now he explains his intent with an open letter via his Instagram page...
