Made it big just in a flick

Bollywood has been a launch pad for many new faces in the industry. Every year there are many fresh faces that make their debuts in the films. Out of these few are enough lucky to make it big in one flick. Here we bring in the list of top 10 actors who made it big just in one flick.


Coming up first is actor Hrithik Roshan. He needs no introduction; his first flick 'Kaho na pyaar hai' speaks it all for him. The actor won the title of best debut actor and also best actor for this film. Hrithik conquered hearts of many girls with his performance in the film. Not only among girls but his popularity even touched kids. After films like 'Koi Mil Gaya' and 'Krissh' kids see him as a super-hero.




Next in the list is actress Bipasha Basu. She started off her career with modeling and finally landed in Bollywood. She made her debut with 'Ajnabee' where she played a dark shade as Akshay Kumar's girlfriend. This film was a big break for her and got her the title of best female debut. Since then the actress has always been in lime-light be it for her look, her films or her relationships with her beau.



If we are talking about debutantes how can we forget the cute and handsome, heart-throb of many girls actor Shahid Kapoor. He just made every girl go crazy for him by his boy next door performance in 'Ishq Vishk'. Not only have that, even Bollywood hottie Kareena fallen flat over his performance. He also won the award of best debut actor that year. From then onwards Shahid has always been topping the charts of favourite actor among girls.



Next is Deepika Padukone, one of the lucky girls who got an opportunity to work with king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan in a high-grosser film like 'Om Shanti Om'.


What more can one asks for if one's performance also won accolades as best actress and best female debut. After such a good opening in the film industry the actress bagged many big banner projects like 'Bachna ae haseeno', 'Chandni Chowk to China', 'Houseful' etc.


Currently she is dating actor Ranbir Kapoor and the duo are considered as one of the cutest Bollywood couple.


The changing scenario of film industry has also opened its arms for television actors and has also incorporated them. Such an actor is Rajeev Khandelwal. He started his career with small screen with a telly-soap 'Kahiin toh hoga.'


The soap bought him lot of fame and success as 'Sujal.' This was his career's turning point and he bagged a role in R.K.Gupta's 'Aamir.' The movie got a critical acclaimation and even Rajeev's performance was appreciated by the audiences. The actor also has another movie in pipeline named 'Peter gaya kaam se.'



Similar story is that of actress Prachi Desai. Even she made it big from telly-soap 'Kasamhh se' and got a break in a cult film like 'Rock On' where she was paired opposite to Farhan Akhtar and played his better half in the film. Rock on and her performance as 'Sakshi' received good acknowledgements from the audiences. Prachi's next is 'Life Partner' where she is casted opposite Tusshar Kapoor.




Director turned actor Farhan Akhtar made his debut with Abhishek Sidhwani film 'Rock On'. As a director Farhan was well-known for his cult film 'Dil chahta hai' but with 'Rock On' he also came out as a good actor and a band singer.


The film did well. 'Luck by chance' was his recent release and the film is doing well on the box-office. After this once again he is switching back to direction.



After Deepika Padukone, model turned actress Anushka Sharma got lucky to have her debut with none other that King Khan. She played the role of leading lady casted opposite SRK in 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.' Her role was that of a simpleton and not glamorous. But, matching up with perfect simplicity, she got it all and her acting in the film received credits. No doubt the film was very well received by the audiences.



Just after 'Jaane tu ya jaane na' industry got one more chocolate boy Imraan Khan. His role as 'Jai' got a good acceptance and a huge fan following among girls. His cute smile and chocolate looks scooped with good acting skills did all good for him and has got him projects like 'Delhi Belly' and one untitled project where once again he will be working with Sanjay Dutt.
                                                                                    


Last but not the least is actress Asin Thottukmal who has done  many south films before but she entered Bollywood with a high-grosser film like 'Ghajini.' She is among one of those lucky actress who gets an opportunity to work with established actor like Aamir Khan.


Her performance in the movie received mixed reviews but she made it big with this 'Ghajini' and also bagged roles in 'London Dreams' and 'Patiala House.'
