Sighted: Brothers on Promotion Spree

As Fashion Police took a trip down memory we couldn't help but notice that the promotions of Brothers was a rather interesting event, fashion-wise. The leading gents of the movie, Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, with their interesting attires have caught the eyes of BollyCurry's Fashion Police hence why the handsome duos are under our scanner. Read on to find whether they pass or fail!

 

 The Brothers leads first caught our attention at Carnival Cinemas, Indore. While Akshay Kumar appeared in casual jeans and a black polo shirt, it was Sidharth Malhotra that stole show by pairing a black t-shirt with brown pants, adding a green jacket for a touch of color. Malhotra certainly won points from us for his interesting ensemble.

 

 Both Malhotra and Kumar took to casual attire for a second time when they graced the Radio Mirchi studio. Kumar once again appeared in a gray polo shirt, which he paired with khaki-coloured pants. Malhotra's white shirt with black pants was a safe choice, but he managed to add some pop to his outfit by wearing red and white sneakers. We approve, especially of the shades Kumar wore (even though it was an indoor event) and the spikey hairstyle Malhotra opted for.

 

Kumar and Malhotra finally took some risks in fashion when they were next sighted at another promotional event alongside Jacqueline Fernandes, though they were less than pleasing to the eye. Kumar could have continued to play safe with his black polo shirt and blue jeans combo, however, the addition of the cap ruined the look. Malhotra did not fare any better either with his crazily designed blue t-shirt and black pants. He looked more like a teenager attempting to play dress up than an upcoming Bollywood star. Adding insult to the injury was the blue shoes, or were they bedroom slippers? In fact, the shoes and shirt made the pant look smaller than it really was. Sorry boys, but you do not impress anyone here!

 

Both Malhotra and Kumar were then seen at the launch of the Brothers Clash of Fighters mobile game. Kumar made a 360 degree turn and actually seemed to make an effort in dressing up. His black and grey t-shirt gets a thumbs up from us and his cap has us nodding in approval. Malhotra was back with his jeans jacket and t-shirt combo and while it may have been a safe choice, it was certainly better than the above mentioned disaster. The sneakers and distressed jeans added well to the look along with the clean-shaven face.

 

Sighted next at a college event on the same day as the launch of the game, both leads of the movie once again received our appreciation. While Kumar wore the same outfit, Malhotra changed it up with a white t-shirt and another jacket. Both looked quite eye catching and we don't begrudge their fans for going crazy for them.

We then caught the duo at what could possibly be seen as their worst appearance ever. Kumar didn't seem to put any effort at all into his appearance as he wore a denim shirt, jeans, a dull-looking cap and a haphazard salt-and-pepper Gabbar Is Back beard. Add to it what looks like a forced smile and we are positively turned off. Malhotra did attempt to lighten up his usual look with a white graphic t-shirt and red pants, but the blue shoes/slippers from one of his above-mentioned outings were back and did not add much to the appearance.
