With Prem Ratan Dhan Payo releasing in a few days, it is not surprising to see Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan at every corner promoting their movie. With Kapoor synonymously being known as the Fashionista of Bollywood, the Fashion Police could not resist from sitting up and taking notice. Getting an eyeful of Salman Khan along the way is a sure bonus! So read ahead and find out whether the leads of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo get a nod or not for their fashion sense.

Promotions for the movie may have begun earlier but it caught our attention when Kapoor showed up on the small screen in the popular show Bigg Boss. Her camaraderie with her co-star Khan was the highlight of the show but due credit must be given to their attires. While Khan looked quite suave and dashing in black trousers, blue shirt and a black vest, Kapoor looked quite they royal in a gold Shantanu and Nikhil lehenga choli. The ensemble highlighted her tall and slender frame and the high neck along with the long sleeves only added to the charm. Oxidized jewellery completed the look. The Fashion Police approves.

We also caught saw the duo on the ramp at IIM campus to promote khadi as a part of Fashion Design Council of India's 'Huts to High Street' Initiative. While they appeared in more than one outfit on the ramp, we chose to focus on the first one where Khan appeared in akhadi pyjama kurta with a complimenting bandi. If Khan looked regal, Kapoor simply stole the show with a one-piece long dress teamed with a matching jacket. Her elegant hairdo and almost no accessories only highlighted the beauty of her gown. We once again approve.

Kapoor and Khan appeared next on Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote their movie. Both of their outfits grabbed our eyeballs but for different reasons. Khan wore a simple brown shirt and jeans, which, while looking good, did not impress us much after seeing him in formal wears till now. Kapoor on the other hand appeared in a gorgeous Indo-Western outfit by Rahul Mishra. The outfit was unique and original and we appreciate it, though we do wish she would choose some bright colours for once. Her look was completed with jewels from Anmol Jewellers.

Arriving at the Radio Mirchi Station in Bandra, Kapoor and Khan had us shaking our heads in disappointment. After enchanting us with their previous outfits, this outing was a bit of let down. Khan wore a multi-coloured checkered shirt with jeans which did not suit him at all while Kapoor wore a demure multi-coloured maxi dress by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She paired the dress with a long coat jacket which only served to make her look quite shapeless. We understand that we asked for colour but this was not what we meant. The Fashion Police shows a strong thumbs down.
Rating: Sonam Kapoor 2/5, Salman Khan 2/5

Kapoor and Khan wooed the crowd of Delhi once again when they made an appearance at Amity College. Khan wore a plain black shirt and jeans while Kapoor wore a simple off-white saree with blue stoned jewelry. What did catch our eye was the interesting spin-off to the traditional blouse - we're not too sure what to make of the large ended arms. However, both complimented each other quite well and while the outfits were down-to-earth compared to the other outings, they were endearing enough for the Fashion Police to not give a full thumbs down.
Rating: Sonam Kapoor 4/5, Salman Khan 2.5/5

Pretty soon we will be seeing  Khan and Kapoor on the small screen when they arrive at Gokuldham Society for Diwali Celebrations in Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasmah. But the pictures of the shoot are already out and we have gotten our hands on it. Wearing a white shirt and faded jeans, there's no denying that Khan looks quite dashing. Wearing a beautiful dark blue lehenga with a shocking pink choli and a pale pink dupatta, Kapoor had us blinking twice. While the ensemble was beautiful when paired with the earrings and some bangles, the get-up somehow looked incomplete. Instead of tying her hair into a bun, if she had left it open and added a necklace to her neck, we would have approved. But as of now, we find Khan better dressed than Kapoor.
Rating: Sonam Kapoor 3/5, Salman Khan 4/5

There you go folks, our verdicts on some of the Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan sightings that we came across. As always, some outfits looked good, some bad, and some had room for improvement. But the majority of Kapoor's outfits had us wowed while Khan proved that he looked good in almost all kinds of ensemble whether they were shirts and jeans or pyjama kurta. The truth is that both could carry off any kind of style, look or outfit with aplomb.

So what do you think about our lovable Prem and fashionista Sonam's fashion sense? Which look did you like the most? Post your thoughts in the comment section below and let us know!
