Fashion Face-Off: Priyanka Chopra vs Gemma Merna

While it is fast becoming a common sight to spot our beloved Bollywood divas don the exact same outfits that have might once been sighted on a Hollywood star, there's no denying that each strive to be original and unique. However, there are times when the roles are reversed and the Eastern stars garb the ensembles first before the Western fashionistas. Here we have Gemma Merna, an English model-turned-actress, who wore the Victoria Beckham creation to an event right after Priyanka Chopra was seen in the exact same outfit in India. Priyanka Chopra first donned the partially coral dress by Victoria Beckham with a high ponytail and berry lips to the HT Most Stylish Awards 2014 in March. She finished her look with a pair of black Louboutins that went gorgeously with the dress. When striking a pose to show off the back, one can't help but stop and stare at the fabulous cut and contrast of colour.

Exactly a month later, in April, Gemma Merna was seen in the same Victoria Beckham outfit during her time off on a yacht in Dubai. She chose to couple the dress with black, patent, skyscraper heels and a top-knot hairdo, finishing her look with pink lip-gloss and a boxed clutch.

There's not much difference between the two looks save the lip colour, hairdo and the option of wearing either pearl studs like Merna or long dangling earrings like Chopra. But if we're to choose a winner, we'd go for Priyanka Chopra. Her natural height allows the separation around the midriff to appear more pronounced, making quite a difference when compared otherwise. But we're definitely digging Merna's lippy; Chopra's is too heavy.
