Bollywood is a place where images stay with you forever. Very few people have had the courage to try something out of their successful genre. Shahid Kapoor is one those few actors in Bollywood today.

That didn't stop this brave actor to sign a movie like Kaminey which gave him a totally opposite rugged and rough look. Shahid states that people had initially advised him not to sign this film. They thought it was too risky to go against his chocolate hero image, but Shahid had decided to do something different, as he firmly believes that audiences do want to see something different today.


Now the older fans of the romantic Shahid Kapoor have their apprehensions regarding what's next for Shahid. But all of those fans need not to be disappointed as Shahid has decided to continue doing romantic films. In fact, Dil Bole Hadippa is sort of going along his older image. Shahid is happy doing anything that excites him. He just doesn't want to restrict himself to a particular genre or image.


Shahid's upcoming flick Dil Bole Hadippa is releasing on the 18th of September and a day after that he's leaving for the U.S.A. After returning he will start working on the promotion of Ken Ghosh's Chance Pe Dance in which he stars opposite Genelia D'Souza. Shahid's got a busy schedule in front of him as amidst all this he will also be shooting for Parmeet Sethi's film opposite RNBDJ girl Anushka Sharma. In upcoming months, Shahid will be seen playing various different characters.
