We have seen Rumana Molla in her quirky avatar in a art show of popular cartoon channel, M.A.D. The actress has now bagged a film titled 'Irada' which also stars like Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi and Divya Dutta. During a candid telephonic chat with us she talked about the film and her character in it.

Q: About the character she is playing in the film.
A: My character's name is Riya Valia and I'm playing the role of Naseer sir's daughter in the film. The character I play is quite reserved, she is a kind of person who would not confront anybody, she blindly follows her father's dream and her life's aim is to fulfil his dreams and desires. She also a sport person, she is swimmer in the film!

Q: How was the experience working with the cast of the film?
A: I have only worked with Naseer sir in the film, my part is only with him so I wouldn't be able to say much about the other actors in the film. However, about Naseer sir I would say that he was incredible to work with. I already had great respect for him because I have seen his performances and he is definitely a legend in that way. But working with him, I got to know why he is a legend. The reason is his undivided attention for what he does and unconditional love for the craft itself, not just for his own performances but for everyone around him. He was incredibly generous, giving and very protective about artist around him so I felt like. I got to see a true artist in action!

Q: What message you would like give to the citizens as elections are around the corner?
A: It's very important to be well informed and to be aware of what's happening and to vote! I think, it's not a time to be complacent and to sit back and think that other people will take care of it, cause I think it's your country so every single person should feel like they own the country and behave accordingly. Like you do with your child, you feel like it's your responsibility, you take care of your child. It's the same with your country, you should feel like you own the country and should feel responsible for it!
