Interview with Gaurav Kapoor.

Vj cum actor Gaurav Kapur is once again back with ‘Badluck Govind’ where he plays the main lead ‘Govind’. He share his experience being part of it.                                                                   


What is ‘Badluck Govind ‘all about?

Badluck Govind is a film about a boy named ‘Govind’ from Delhi who has the worst luck in the world. Wherever he goes he gets himself and everyone in trouble. So one day finally he abandons his home and comes to Mumbai where he falls in company of bad people and from here comic situations start. At the end there is message through the film in an entertaining way  if someone gets it  fine, if not still its fine.


How you got roped in for this role?

Well that was really interesting. It happened like Varun called me for some supporting role in the movie. Later on he asked me to read the script of the main lead ‘Govind’. While I read it he was reading the script of the supporting actor. Then next day he called me up and asked that “Will you like to play the role of main lead Govind because I find you fit for it in every way and I was like  of course why not. This is how it happened.


How was your experience with the entire cast of the film?

Amazing. Everyone is very good. I have got to learn a lot from them the way they do their roles. Whenever I was off screen I used to observe them and learn.


What is your opinion about Varun Khanna as a director?

He lived in L.A, California, he is very meticulous, organized, he knows what to do, when to do, how to do.


Do you personally believe in jinx?

Yes I do sometimes. Like whenever I go to any studio I will always step in with my left leg, listen to music on odd numbers, crossing of black cat on the way.


This film was suppose to named as Kismat Bole Toh?

It happened like we just gave it such a name but then this title was more suitable and sound.  


What’s next after ‘Badluck Govind’

In my next I play a role of a Bihari boy and the movie will go on floors by April.
