BollyCurry is back once again with the next installment of Friday Box-office Releases. This week is definitely a special and important one as we celebrate Diwali. The festivity annually brings us the biggest blockbusters of the year and this year is no different with the King Khan gracing the screens. Standing up against him is the popular singer/composer turned actor, Himesh Reshammiya, and if that isn't enough, battling it out with these two, we also have the legend Dharmendra pairing up first time with his daughter, Esha Deol!

So without further ado, let's see what hits our theatres this week!

Ra.One

Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Armaan Verma, Satish Shah, Dalip Tahil, Shahana Goswami, Suresh Menon, Rajnikanth, Sanjay Dutt
Producer/ Director: Gauri Khan/Anubhav Sinha
Music Director: Shekhar Ravjiani, Vishal Dadlani

Last seen playing the character of a Muslim man suffering from the Asperger's Syndrome, Shah Rukh is back once again in a full fledged role playing the character of G.One. The story: a father and son's relationship comes to a standstill after trying hard to find a place in each others lives. But not one to give up, Shekhar (SRK) tries his all, and as if God answered his prayers, comes up with a solution - a virtual game like never before. But will this game be the reason to patch things up or be the one that breaks all hell loose? Said to be India's most expensive film, it's not one made to miss!

Damadamm

Cast: Himesh Reshammiya, Purbi Joshi, Sonal Sehgal, Rajesh Khattar
Director: Swapna Waghmare
Music Director: Himesh Reshammiya

Himesh Reshammiya is back once again in a different avatar. Known to previously enacted serious roles, this time Himesh tries his hand at comedy. The rom-com revolves around the character of Sameer and his annoyance with girlfriend Shikha, who has the habit of constantly nagging him for every little thing. Gone for a wedding, Shikha is away, giving Sameer the opportunity to come out and play! But what happens when she comes back? That's what the story is about. Very sure of his movie, Himesh has pitted himself against the highly publicized Ra.One. However, judging by past ventures, it may surprise and end up doing well!

Tell Me O Kkhuda

Cast: Eesha Deol, Vinod Khanna, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Arjan Bajwa, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Sudhanshu Pandey, Farooq Sheikh
Producer/Director: Hema Malini/Mayur Puri
Music Director: Pritam Chakraborty

First time showcasing the father-daughter duo onscreen, this movie brings together Dharmendra and Eesha Deol, who makes a comeback to Bollywood. The story revolves around Tanya, played by Eesha, who brought up in a safe and happy environment, goes on a journey to find her biological parents. On her way, she encounters many wrongs and rights of life. To get in touch with her roots, she goes through many twists and turns to reach her destination. A movie tuning into the finer points of life, it's definitely one to look forward to, if the Deols aren't attention grabbing enough.

Well there you are folks, the three movies battling it out this week. Be sure to catch your fav, and do let us know which it is. Until next time, here is BollyCurry wishing everyone a very happy Diwali and a prosperous New Year!
