Fun Facts about ZOOTOPIA releasing on 4th March 2016

After the splendid success of Disney's Oscar nominated Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur, the studio is all set to kick-start 2016 with an unusual and exciting new animation in the shape of ZOOTOPIA releasing on 4th March 2016!!

The quirky animation boasts of stellar voices such as International superstar Shakira, Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin, Idris Elba and more!

International superstar Shakira is lending her Grammy winning voice to Gazelle, the biggest pop star in Zootopia. There are fun factsa about Zootopia one of them is that artists were inspired by Mufasa from Disney's classic film "The Lion King" when creating the look of Mayor Lionheart!

 And what's more, in this movie a single giraffe has more individual hairs on itnine millionthan every single character in either Frozen, Big Hero 6, or Wreck-It Ralph.

Keep in mind that the filmmakers had to manipulate each individual hair on its ownand there would have been a lot of hair even if they hadn't gone to such lengths. The film is, after all, about animals who walk, talk and dress like humans. So to make an entire movie full of furry animals, they had to create a whole new language in the computer to make it possible.

"When Snow White was released, it really was a technical achievement," said Zootopia producer Clark Spencer. "And it really is our goal, as a studio, each and every day, to push technology and innovation. Zootopia follows in the footsteps of Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, and we're competitive. Each of us look at our films and say 'How do we go to that next level?' And that's really been an extraordinary journey for all of us in bringing this world to life."

Directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore, the modern mammal metropolis of 'Zootopia' is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it's a melting pot where animals from every environment live togethera place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything.

But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn't so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery.

Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Zootopia," a comedy-adventure directed by Byron Howard ("Tangled," "Bolt") and Rich Moore ("Wreck-It Ralph," "The Simpsons") and co-directed by Jared Bush ("Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero"), opens in theaters on March 4, 2016.
