Anupam Kher talks about Sonali Bendre's battle with Cancer

We all remember the day when Sonali Bendre took to Instagram and let the world know that she is suffering from Cancer. She shared that she has been diagnosed with high grade cancer that has metastised. Her fans, friends, family and media, all came to an abrupt pause with the news. Currently she is undergoing treatment in New York and she keeps on sharing her journey with they ones who care.

When she chopped off her tresses, she wrote about it, she keeps on telling people how her friends have become her strength in these testing times. She even wrote a wonderful post for her son who has been a major source of inspiration and strength since the time of her diagnosis.

Recently, Anupam Kher told IANS in an interview that since he is in New York for a shoot, he makes sure that he meets her and gives her the dose of positive vibes she needs. He said that they talk about returning home and he always tells her, 'I don't know about me, but I really want you to go back home.'

He continued to tell the media that Sonali is the bravest person he knows. He said,"By brave, I do not mean strong in terms of physical strength. How you deal with life in difficult situation determines your true strength and the way Sonali is fighting is highly applaudable.".He religiously prays for her every single day and hopes that she recovers very soon.

Anupam Kher and Sonali Bendre have worked together in movies like Humara Dil Aapke Pass Hai. Being a great co-star Anupam makes sure that he gives all the love and support Sonali needs right now. She is doing great with her treatment but the battle is long and she intends to put up a great fight.
