Student of The Year 2 gets a special song from it's ex-students!!

You remember the super hit numbers 'Radha', 'The Disco Song' and the much loved 'Ishq wala Love' from Student of the year? Yes, the same magic is all set to be recreated on screen by the same stars, this time for the sequel of the movie. SOTY 2 is in the making and the makers of SOTY decided that they would give the sequel a stupendous start. SOTY 2 stars Baaghi 2 actor Tiger Shroff along with two new launches Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey. It is going to be a high school drama with the older batch passing on the baton to the newbies. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra kick started their careers with this drama and it turned out quiet a beneficial deal for them. The makers decided that the movie should have a beginning where the older batch passes on the lineage to the new batch. To shoot this sequence what could be better than an opening song. As per the reports of DNA," The film's makers wanted to shoot the song, which will feature the trio in the opening credits, on a large canvas. They are yet to take a call on whether they should shoot in Delhi, Pune or Mumbai. It will be shot either in a stadium or on a lavish set. This song will mark the beginning of the sequel and will see SOTY'S lead actors, Varun, Alia and Sid, passing the baton to the new batch of students."

SOTY was directed by the king of romance Karan Johar. Now the sequel will be in the hands of Punit Malhotra. He has directed movies like I hate Love Stories and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. The movie has already finished two shooting schedules and the third one is set to start in mid July. It's slated to come to theaters on November 23 and is owned by the same banner as before, Dharma Productions.
