Getting back to the film's box office updates, a report in Box Office India reveals, "Sanju has the highest ATP (Average Ticket Price) ever as far as a Hindi film is concerned though it is lower than Avengers - Infinity War which is the highest ever in India for any film. Given this, the advance collections of the film are above Race 3 and Dangal even as the tickets sales are less. Sanju is the highest advance ever excluding a Salman Khan starrer if Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Avengers - Infinity War are excluded. It is also the widest release ever for a young star as Sanju releases on 2300 cinemas reaching 4200 screens".

The report in BOI also reveals that Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju' has taken the third best opening of the year after Baaghi 2 and Race 3 in terms of occupancy.
