Priyanka Chopra: When I get married, it won't be a SECRET

Priyanka Chopra recently had a quite exhausting journey from USA-Delhi-Assam-Delhi-USA in just three days. Little did she know that her this visit would invite her into a rather absurd controversy.

While on her way to Assam, Priyanka posted a picture of herself on her Instagram account. Few media houses were quick to notice the bracelet on her hand which looked like a mangalsutra. This was then turned into a report where her fans started claiming that she is secretly married.

She had posted, "My one constant...travel. Different places...different people...different worlds. This time I'm in #AwesomeAssam in India . Follow my stories and tell me...what's your favorite city or country in the world? ..."

Responding to this controversy, Pee Cee had tweeted, "Hahahah!heights of speculation! This is an evil eye guys! Calm down! I'll tell u when I get married and it won't be a secret! Lol".

While interacting with The View, she spoke about this controversy, she stated, "In a Hindu marriage, we have a lot of traditional things we do including sindoor on the forehead. There is a mangalsutra- a necklace that women which has black and gold stones, plus it's also an evil eye. It looks like a hair tie, who zoomed in so much!".

She further affirmed, "No, I am not married. When I do get married the world will know".

Earlier also few reports about her wedding had surfaced over the internet. About that she had stated, "Marriage is definitely on the cards, but will happen when the time is right. It will happen when it is destined to, If I do decide to take the plunge, it would be with someone who understands and supports that. At the end of the day, two people make a relationship work. It will take an understanding and prioritisation from both".
