Yesterday, Karan Johar was present at an event where he joined hands with Y-Films to come up with the 'Six Pack Band 2.0' to support the kids dealing with Autism. In 2016, India's 1st transgender band, the Brooke Bond Red Label 6 Pack Band exploded onto the scene winning millions of hearts across the globe and became India's most awarded campaign ever. The band had special collaborations with Anushka Sharma, Hrithik Roshan, Sonu Nigam, Asha Bhosle, among others, that became huge talking points.

In its 2nd edition, the 6-Pack Band 2.0 focuses on the important theme of Mental Health & Disability. Celebrated Producer-Director-Author-Host Karan Johar joins this cause to change the way we perceive children with different abilities.

As the renowned filmmaker Karan Johar who has also dealt with many negative things...yesterday at the event when he was asked whether he was scared during his childhood over any personal issue the filmmaker said, "Being scared and terrified is a part of our lives. Of course, when I was small I used to get scared of many things. I always used to feel that I am different from other kids and because of which I used to be more scared if (the society) would accept me. I can't say that my situation is like them (Autism kids) but, I do understand their situation on how it feels to fear to go outside and mingle. I think it is our responsibility to create an atmosphere to make sure that all these children feel free to come out and live," Karan told the media here on Thursday.

One knows how Karan has always been receiving flak for his certain kind of behaviour and his appearance on screen but, still, the filmmaker has tried and managed to overcome his these flacks and stand out in the crowd. When asked how did he overcome his fear, Karan said, "I think I am very fortunate enough that I have such understanding parents. The love, support and understanding I got from them was very progressive. They always understood me and never made me feel that I sometimes I behave differently than others for which I feel that their support was everything for me. The most important thing is you should allow your children to fly. Not just children with a special need but, if your child shows you one speciality in them it doesn't mean that you make kid progress in that particular thing only. Let them search their own talent and needs please."
